Poem -

Distraction.

Distraction.

Like an outcast, I walked

the dull paths of town,

Hideous repetition each day,

There's No magic left,

I used to live, hurting.

Now merely existing,

I wait for you.

No destination in my dreams.

I used to love being awake;

Now I sleep everyday.

On a repetitive day

You appeared, like a dream;

Now wide awake,

No need to dream,

You are here.

I can finally breathe...I can smile...

I want to live... to survive.

Touch my soul like only you do, let it soar...
