Do Not Tell Me I am Pretty

Please do not tell me I am pretty because I will scream inside,

that is where you will never understand,

just how ugly it is.

They say beauty is skin deep but I feel everything in my bones,

and I'm positive you will never understand the negativity, 

so just leave me before I start to cry again

and give you another reason to think I am weak.
