DO PEOPLE WEAR WELLINGTON BOOTS ?

Do people wear wellington boots anymore ? 
Once an essential item once the rain started to pour 
You could jump into puddles and splash about 
Your socks would end up soggy there is no doubt 

Wellies were a vital part of winter too 
They came in different colours ranging from red to blue 
Ah wellington boots you were such a part of my youth 
I will admit to not owning a pair now if you want the truth 

I guess like most things wellington boots have had their day 
However lets remember our wellies when rain and snow came our way
