Do You Know Where the Summer Went?

In these warm evening nights,
When we would dance,
Under the moonlight,
Rekindling our romance,
The first signs of love,
We would spend the nights,
Staring at the stars above,

The summer nights were so endless,
And so long,
It transformed our love,
Made it strong,
Stronger than it has ever been,
To live forever in our memories,
In a truly beautiful dream,

I still search for the summer in my mind,
Hoping one day, it will be the best thing,
That I ever did find,

But, for now I still beg the question,
Of the whereabouts of summers bloom,
I still believe that some of it still lingers,
In your perfume,
And your scent,
And I still believe, that in your love,
Is where my summer went.
