A man named Donald is twenty years older than me
Lived on a pirate ship moored in Newport Quay
The ship had a name it was called the Nora Av Ven
Don't know the history but built in Sweden

Donald was the captain of this fine shipping craft
The locals thought him amusing oh how they laughed
He went about his business in bright orange crutches
The dreadlocks on his head were the finishing touches

Then one day the local council decided to vote
To get rid of this eyesore and get rid of this boat
Donald now drives around in a Bedford Bambi van
My heart goes out to this interesting character of a man
