Don't wait!

The little things in life 
That we all let pass us by 
The things we take for granted 
When we don't see others try 

To make their lives become better 
So much better 
Than before 
The pain they hide from the world

When their hearts 
Are scorched once more 

The tears they try to keep hidden 
In fear of being scorned 
When their souls are being ridden of 
The tattered and the torn 

Letting go of what's been 
And will never be again 
Trying hard to pull themselves out of the darkness 
They've once again, found themselves in 

Taking them for granted 
That they'll rise up and fly away 
Never seeing the pain they're in 
Until their dying day 

Then it's suddenly become to late 
To tell them how you feel 
To tell them that you love them 
And that you wished they were with you still 

Take the time to see them
Show them how much they mean 
Before it ends up being too late 
And they just become a dream
