Neville I sat looking at this and realised it can be read a couple of ways. At first I thought “oh you take a turn at beating them” but no this means taking a turn of beating up yourself...because sometimes we can do a better job at it...such a clever clever write x

I'm a bit like that/you .. I often have to re-visit before summat clicks .. I often think that certain poetry is a bit like those old magic eye images that can come alive from just a series of random dots ... x

Wow I remember those, my oldest friend loved having books of those pics. I always felt myself going cross eyed staring at them for ages đŸ€Șlol 

But yes I think that’s a great comparison. Some poems just need you to soak them in a while and then bang it hits you. Always an enjoyable moment...as was this poem to read 😊 x
