Poem -

Down Deep.

I’ve got the salt dog blues.
All i hear is bad bad news.
I’m down deeper than a buried coffin.
I know more about being down than a university lecturer on depression boffin.
Can’t get out of this slippery rut.
But and there’s always a but.
Hopefully i see a light to lead me on the right path.
And once again i can smile and joke and laugh.
