DOWN OFF HER MOUNTAIN

DOWN OFF HER MOUNTAIN

She stopped running away
She faced the edge
Of the precipice, the cliff
With hinds` feet, on the ledge
With strength and with power
With balance, beauty and grace
She descended her mountain
With a slow steady pace
She stopped holding on
She learned to let go
To take what she has
To keep thriving and grow
She stopped looking back
And began looking ahead
She faced her worst enemies;
Fear of failure and dread
She came down off her mountain
She stopped running away
She chose to keep fighting
And stand in the fray
She climbed down off her mountain
Far from her high place
To live among the living
And join the human race

Dear Gayle,

Sometimes the mountain's top
Is a convenient place to hide
Sheltered from your inner self
Adversity denied

.
But those that venture down it
Will finally be at peace
Their innermost inhibitions
So easily released

Hugs, Peace and Love,
Larry xxx
