Dragons Fire

The castle has a shadow hoovering over,  it breathes deep
The king has lost his queen in the black forrest of the night
She vanished at midnight in the midst  of a fog that creep
It was said she had a secret lover who swept her away
Now the walls shrill with the sound of her music
Violins play and the dragon moans her name
A knight fought in battle was claimed to be her lover, though he fell into a sterling sword
As he road atop a fierce dragon beast, though he fell in defeat
Now each dark night at midnight the dragon scorns their death, trampled by another the queen found dead
The fire blazes in the stars, with blinding light and cursing heat
Where love lost, betrayed in the halls of dread
