Dramatic?

Dramatic?

Dramatic?

You think I'm being dramatic?

You, the one who cried and screamed in my arms,

While your whole world crumbled to the ground.

Pleading with God to take your agony away.

Only to watch you run back to the demon that warped you.

You think I'm being dramatic?

You, the one that keeps running back to your toxic lover.

Knowing there's no real love to be found.

Just a broken jaw and devastated heart.

With endless fights and paranoid nights.

You think I'm being dramatic?

I took my feelings, my pain, my heartache,

And violently shoved it down so deep.

In order to be there for others but not just you.

My children, my friends, my colleagues.

You call me dramatic?

Years and years I buried pieces of myself til there was nothing left.

And no room left in my burial grounds.

Like a volcano, the years of my neglected feelings exploded.

Now I'm left here overwhelmed and alone.

This monster we both created.

But you think I'm being dramatic?
