Draw Near

My God, whom I both love and fear
draw closer Lord, draw near

For my life rests fully in your hands
who I am to make mortal demands

That this should be instead of that
that I deserve freedom or a decent mat

This furnace of change oft gets to me
but if not for You, who would I be

Still my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus
stay close that the enemy won't deceive us

Let my fears and worries cease
settle in with Thy loving peace

it truly is beautiful. I am glad to know He is in your life. I've wrestled with God and found myself far too weak
