Poem -

Drawing his pain away

He draws with silver

But it comes out red

It makes him quiver

A tear is shed

It hurts a tad

But it stops his pain

Some see it as sad

Other call it insane

You see they aren’t done on paper

Nor a canvas or card

And he uses a razor

Which is incredibly sharp

He cuts across his wrist

Trying to feel alive

Would he be missed

If he went for the dive?
He could jump in the water

And not bother coming up

Would that put a stop to his never ending rut?
