Dreaded Sunny Days

Dreaded Sunny Days

A dreaded sunny day, so let’s go to the water
Before you think of something to do
I know I can be rotten
But I’ve never forgotten
That there’s nowhere else I’d rather be than with you.

A dreaded sunny day, so let’s go to the water
I might even make a sandwich or two,
You know that I’ll be moaning
I’d rather have you groaning
But there’s room upon your cycle for two.

A dreaded sunny day, so let’s go to the water
We can watch what the real people do,
Both love people watching
And find it rather touching
When there’s eccentric folk, sunshine and a view.

A dreaded sunny day, so let’s go to the water
Every time it’s like something new.
On a day for being lazy
I have you to drive me crazy,
Guess I love you though, so what can I do?
