Suite Of Measures

Look, we’ve adopted a suite of measures
Designed to keep you safe.
They are our ideas, this suite of measures,
We only hope we’re not too late.

Wash your hands, rule number one
Amongst our suite of measures.
Wear your mask, let’s make it fun!
Like all our ‘national treasures’.

Keep your distance, watch your space...
Measures not to be derided.
Obey instruction with good grace,
So we cannot be divided.

Observe the rule of six we say,
Or find the coppers at your door.
Only a few thousand dead thus far,
The ONS believe there’s room for more.

So there it is, all perfectly clear
This suite of measures, that’s our view.
But the most important rule of all...
Do as we say, not as we do.
