Dream Sequence (2)

Dream Sequence (2)

The only way to gain the queen was to slay the dragon,
how many times did we draw swords out of rocks,
while Merlin looked on with secret signs to adversary,
outcome not clear, it had to be another dull mystery.

Wicked ogres two a penny or was it ducat then,
we trudged an upward path to a misty old castle,
groaning door bell summoned the Rocky Horror Show,
no picture, plaudits, credits, acknowledgements were slow.

That dragon clanking along behind with no flames,
he could wait before I pierced his stinking heart,
it said: 'Will you give me your autograph before I die,
so that I can take it with me forever into the sky.'

Merlin muttered and said: 'Creatures death not for the good,'
I took the queen regardless, he was just another bloody wizard.

A Lonely Journey

I will Terry, thank you.
I do feel pretty well, and I fell into a well, and just the other day I said to someone 'well, at least my ear didn't fall off, so I'm covering all the bases with the term 'well'. lol.
Thanks again!

Matthew.
