Dream Within A Dream

Awakening image of sunlight
shines bright into my eyes,
the slumber I left behind me
was it reality in disguise.

No grasping on to feel
no sounds come forth my scream,
so tell me is life real
or a dream within a dream.

I arrived from where I came
at nightfall I shall return,
two worlds so differently the same,
the link between them what is learned.
Waking into a sleep, sleeping to be awake,
Like superman transforming in a booth.
Somewhere lying in between,
the answers to a revealing truth.
