Dreamer

I know
one of 
my pitfalls 
is that I am
a dreamer

I was the kid
who actually
looked for
the end
of the Rainbow
Believing a 
Treasure chest
was to be had.
As a young adult
I bought
the lottery ticket
believing ( and I still do )
that inevitably 
I will win the Jackpot
With that said
I never believed
in the notion
that an event
happened 
due to "God's Will"
rather I believe
things happen
when we
soar
and overcome
the obstacles
within us
and simply 
find a way
to go 
out and get it
So right or wrong
I will continue to
dream
and find ways to 
break the door
open
even when it  seems 
to be 
no 
door...........................
