Dreamer

Who would have thought
That a poor boy would win?
He has no name
Just the dream he’s in

His heart has been broken
He’s a bird without wings
But like a bird, he finds hope
In the song that he sings

He has no where to go When the rainstorms come
But a strong tree branch
Which he perches from

His clothes are ripped and torn
He has no shoes to wear on his feet
Bloody blisters on his soul
His life’s bittersweet

But he has a voice
The voice of a believer
His life is love
His name is Dreamer
