Dreams

Round the mountain high
Down to the valley below
Straight as a crow flies
Soaring like a speck in the sky
Upwards to the starfields
Spiralling in the darkness
These are where my dreams g
When I lie in your arms tonight
I can jump so much higher and
Stand so much taller
I sometimes wish for dreams
But I realize that those sleep filled hours are as real as
Ones in daylight true
So I can wish and hope and think if time
Would only stand still for me
I could change the ending of those dreams
so you would still be with me
