Dreams

Dreams

Oceans of light,

Rippling bright tides,

Winds gusting,

 Warming the world we perceive,

The power of your mind,

Holding reality,

Shattering the oppression,

Of our enemies rejection,

Breaking chains,

Crying out in pain,

Our tears are only an example of the strength we've gained,

Dreams,

A canvas of paint,

For our sincerity to the world,

To love us all the same,

A child shakes themselve to sleep,

Hoping for an ocean of light,

To send its rippling warm tides,

Because he fears this place has stolen his dreaming heart away.
