Dreams Of Spring

The sun in me
Reflects the light
As the sky sings a symphony of blue
Children sing trees dance and sway
Spring is in full bloom
And as the winter's sadness fades away
I am born once more
To the loving day

Every human creature rejoices
With jubilant smiles
That thank the creator
As the light anoints
And cures the taint
The butterfly emerges from
It's winter crysalis

Clouds of white
Float in a blue heaven
Seas of green grass
Waves of daffodils
May the wind lift me up on Godly wings
And may I fly with angels
In the dreams of spring

Sitting beneath the sun
As it's loving light warms my skin
My joy reflects its awesome radiance
And my soul returns
From whence it came

Every smile spreads love itself
Like that life giving sun
That rises at dawn
Birds sing its right to give thanks
For life is but a gift 
Granted by the stars

The death of the year
Is blessed by winter
And like mortal death 
The sun shall rise again
Endless beauty love abounds
Life shall usher forth from
The springs of heaven

The nightmare has faded
The hibernation has ended
Children emerge from the womb
Of mother nature's embrace
Crying joy with eyes of innocence
Welcome to life
The dream of spring
