Drifting Through The Cosmos
Rings swirling with signs of lifeย
Wondrous stars that illuminate the spheres throughout the nightย
Drifting around the cosmos not getting much sleepย
To much to see and doย
Hardly having the urge to stop for a bite to eatย
Captivated by God's creation in this universeย
No asteroids slamming together painted this canvasย
From this exquisite milky wayย
Beyond the realm where fantasy meets science fictionย
I am alive because of my strong convictions todayย
As I make my way through the next astral planeย
Standing here looking out on this galaxy will certainly take your breath awayย
For now this is the place I call homeย
Roaming this existence no need for a cell phoneย
inspired by ancient aliens but I believe in a intelligent designย

Sleep should only be used as a regeneration for the body. ย I choose to not waste my Golden Years in extensive hours of slumber. ย I revel in the wee hours of the morning, when the universe is so visible and the past is illustrated right before our eyes. ย We escape to the distant stars, and in those moments, dwell in infinity. ย Beam me up Scottie, this planet sucks.
