Drink To Me..
Drink to me, for I have discovered
I am small, but so much a lover
Of humanities consummately aging wine
That sweet elixir that thrills the tongue
Heightening my awareness of being alive
Till age does snow white the hairs upon my head
I am the wine, a divine plan for victory
I am alive, so drink to me...
Stolen into this paradise, I am entranced
Blissfully accepting of its joys and pains
I have unclasped its jeweled enchantment
So drink to me, for soon, this chance will end
Iย am oh so small, but, with my spirit enhanced
I find a noiseless fear with which to dance
And trembling,ย inย His soft and welcome embrace
In a wakeful swoon, I find unexpected grace...
So drink to me, oh happy reader
For I have discovered
That you,
Are a part of me,
And we two,
A part,
Of He...
