Drop zone

I'm the one who gets to lay safely in his arms

I'm the one who gets to hold onto his heart

I'm the one who gets to gaze deep into his eyes

and watch the pupils enlarge as he stares back at mine

he's my man 

I'm his girl

he's my whole entire world

mostly independent 

but dependent on his love

it's like a drug

can't get him outa my mind

but truth be told I'd be lying 

if I said that I mind

he invaded my thoughts 

like an alien

abducted my heart

like invader zim

it's like a roller coaster 

but in a way

to say 

that it feels like I'm on top of the world

when I'm standing next to him 

my stomach is filled with thrills 

like that of which you would feel

before you hit the top

on drop zone 

before your stomach switches places with your heart

on the way down 

the way that you get when you get back to the ground 

and are thrilled to have not of died

you're happy to be alive
