She cant break a broken heart
My love is forever but hers is another
Never thought I would be so hated

My heart is ruined from my past and now
A new love that I cant make last
A worthless feeling a lonely man
Alone again and I cant be sad
Im gonna lose my mind and im dying inside
I wish I could close my eyes and never
See another light, never smile and never be alive
My innocence of love I had will never
Come back to this worthless man
Nothing I can do to show to prove
That she is everything I love to do
I cant hold on to a forced love
I see in her eyes ill never be good enough
I wish she was forever mine
And truth be told im dead in side
For the rest of my worthless life.

Heartbreakingly sad poem.....I hope writing it was cathartic for you! Remember, time heals all wounds. Its true...I know! Love is the most wonderful feeling in the world, and loss of love (whether through death, divorce, or the relationship ending because you just drift apart) is the most horrible feeling. Its like a constant ache that you think will never stop. I can totally relate.
