Dying Roses

Oh, dying roses how time flies,

Both of you were once beautiful and full of life;

Now yall are dying and losing your color and petals.

Time and people have been cruel to all of you,

Both of your pasts would have make anyone fade;

People have hurt you in way that it would make the happiest clown cry.

I still love both of you and cherish both of you my dying roses,

You both made me a better person;

So thank you dying roses for the time you have put in my life.

I will never forget you my friends and how special both of you was,

But, now, I am standing over yalls grave;

Forever here you will be until the Lord returns.

Goodbye my friends, see you in a better time and place.

Until then rest peacefully my dead roses.
