When I was young and feeble

When I was mild and meek

Everybody liked me

They loved me.

Even those who were against my arrival smiled

As I smiled with ignorance

They kissed me

Everybody loved kissing me

Everybody

Loved my company because I brought

Them some sort of unimaginable happiness.

Every mouth kissed me

Both stinking and sweet scented mouths

Due to cosmetics

Bad breathe people and fresh breath people

Showered saliva on me.

Girls seduced me, most played with my toy.

When I was weak and helpless

Oh!

How I have suffered due to

How people mishandled me in the name of love

But now I am old and strong

Nobody wants me near, nobody wants to give even a hug.

Everybody has shunned me

All those who hailed me when I was ignorant and naïve

Have rejected me, for then I was pretty and handsome

When I was a baby –But now I’m ugly.

They say, so nobody wants to give me a kiss

Men like new things-I have seen

But rejects it when old-I felt life would be easy

So I smiled always-not knowing those who

Tickled me to laughter would one day

Tickle me with their words and let my eyes laugh out loud

By calling me a messed up-

Forgetting some days past they raised me up.

This world is not easy as we see it in childhood

Those who raised you to laughter

Are the same to raise your emotions up into tears

Men love new things, but abandons them when old.
