Ebony Dread, inspired by The Lottery

Sticks and stones may break my bones
But the lottery never hurt me
A village day
Where all can play
At death
That's the game
The paper is clean
Your body is free
Just for another year
The dot fills you with fear
The Grimm Reaper is here
You know that it's time to leave
An annual cry
Just say your goodbyes
Don't scream or kick or whine
Don't make a fuss
Don't be a wuss
To their ritual of sickening sin
Black dot yelp
Black dot cry
Black dot burden say bye bye
Sticks and stones may break my bones
And the lottery
It killed me.
