The voice in our heads
It's poison like lead
Take it in at your peril
About your business you go
Moving through your life to and fro
A voice whispers
"You're not good enough"
What was that
"They're better than you"
Again! who said those words
Who's there
"What makes you so special"
Answer me, who are you
Where did you come from
An answer to my question
"I have always been with you"
Why
"You called me forth"
This makes no sense, you are no good for me
"My opposite is peace, calm, oneness, self, you don't want those things"
I do! Of course I do
"Then why am I here"
