Electric Shock Treatment

I'm sure this has happened to most of you
You come up with this brilliant thought
Before you have a chance to write it down
It vanishes like a shot
You try and try so hard to remember
This amazing new invention
But your mind's gone south for the summer
And has no capacity for retention
You start to sweat and feel the panic
It was a marvellous new discovery
It was going to change the way of the world
But the odds are slim for recovery
You consider the electric shock treatment
By sticking your finger in a socket
Thought better of it coz your hands were wet
And your hair would take off like a rocket
So you resign yourself and figure it's gone
Suddenly it pops back in your brain
The thing you were trying to remember so bad
Was your mother's and father's last name!

To me that doesn't me happen ever, I always remember everything, some of my poems have kept them in the cerebral cortex while he slept and woke up I've rewritten them at the Works. If you forgot to anodyne things and that try can not ever remember.
But my mind despite those omissions still running as the first day to the point that when I republishing some old writing always me is much easier to write it again to look for it among the hundreds of thousands of Works in the inside of my computer. The mind is something physical and immaterial when you think of it, always surprises us.
A hug for both.
LOL You are one-of-a-kind my friend! Cheers, Jack
Jack this is a very creative and original idea I enjoyed reading. You have a great humor and whit to your writes and I really think everyone can relate to this write because ideas strike at any time if I don't write it down right away it is hard to remember later on. Thank god for my phone because it's not like im going to carry around a pen and paper. Allstars well done.
Very much appreciated my friend! It's an affliction that affects most people, methinks!!! LOL
