Emily & Maisie ❤️❤️

Emily & Maisie ❤️❤️

Roly Poly, tumbling over
Tucking in a perfect ball
Emily is eleven, petite & growing ever so tall

Maisie runs along the wooden floor until she reaches a mat
Then she hurdles her whole self
In the air, flips over forward just like a scalded cat

“Brilliant both of you” Sam the teacher yelled in the gymnasium hall
“Now can the two of you do a head stand against that outer wall?”

He turned his attention to the others practising gym upon the ground
Quickly noticing a girl named Lucy who was crying making a sound

She has landed awkwardly on her back
Thank goodness Lucy was aright
So Sam the tutor addressed all his focus on Emily & Maisie’s sight

Well both of them were stood upside down against the school hall wall
Emily’s liquorice legs were straight as pins, tho Maisie’s wer’nt as tall

Both of them are cousins
Maisie is only eight
Mind you each enjoy the gymnastics class
Sam say’s they are doing great!!

Clad out in leotards, Maisie’s is blue, whilst Emily’s green
Both bare-footed standing listening to their orders mighty keen

Thursday night after school, both of them adore their teacher Sam
Then as soon as it is over they change their clothes & meet their Mam
