EMIN-ENT

EMIN-ENT

I never got to sleep in your bed
My name was never on your tent
I watched you swear on live TV
And then walk out.

I know why it was you never
Became a dancer
And why you left Margate
The stories of you and your father:
Your escapades interested me.

You were once the “Enfant Terrible”
Of the YBAs
I think you’ve mellowed
In more recent years
And are now a CBE, RA.
