Emotional race

Happiness I'm rooting for you. 
depression I used to bet on you. 
concentration lost several laps .Trails different and  hard some  fast some  slow , always a long way to go.
sorrow every long distance swim , determination the short straw . Anger a good competitor but a bad sport .nervous nelly tramps upward ,excuses look for a short cut . Memory a head wind. future behind closed doors , beyond that finish line . Intercourse pounded out some steps . emotional race am I lagging behind my own expectation .
