Empty Arms!

Empty Arms!

Time's echoing a subconscious cry
out through the atoms hear the Cosmos sigh
Calling at tomorrows with lamenting plea
Listen for missing heart beats on a family tree

Where's the continuing of a newbie branch
arid from tears spilled on each unfulfilled chance
Exposure of raw nerves to near unbearable pain
binding links of a beginning lost hope chain

Though from the fire of every failed appeal
rises in the ashes a success chance to heal
Endurance swelling to the ongoing plight
surely soon to beat the long term bad luck blight

To an higher order is the ask this time
winding the clock of creation to chime
Empty arms to the Stars out stretch
hoping the answer is a miracle and a new life fetch

Hi WENDY!!...... you have a fine sense of control over your medium...... your use of alliteration in the very first line shines brightly!!... your ability to convey pain in such a unique manner is on display beautifully here........I have a disease that causes extreme chronic pain myself....... so trust me when I say......I can TOTALLY relate to this piece!! .......ALL STARS!!  & PINNED!!...... well done dear poet sister!!........LOVE & ROCKETS!!........T xo
