Love's Rebirth
Here I stand with my gilded sword awaiting my knight's reveal
Many tears I have shed to forget his hurtful appeal
My wounds are real for I thought our love was heaven sent
Wanting to recapture what I had before
So I won't be lonely anymore
My heart is rugged on the outside but is ready for a euphoric emancipation
Standing here gazing into your soul
Are you ready for love's last request ?
Or is it too late for my chance at a rebirth for a second glance ?
