Enlightened

I cannot get back the lost time, I can do my best to not waste anymore.
I can't undo past pain but I can work hard to prevent anymore from coming.
I cannot love who I was, I can continue to nurture who I have become.
All life's answers come from change in the present and future.
The past isn't meant to be a deterrent but rather a reminder, it's a tool.
