Ray and Eric passed away a few days apart
Both men died from an attack of the heart
Eric was sixty and Ray was sixty one
Upsetting to think their living days are done

At Manchester United and Chelsea Ray Wilkins made his name
Idolised by many playing the beautiful game
Ray was undoubtedly a fine midfield maestro
The eighty four England appearances will testify and show

Turning our attention now to Eric Bristow
A darting legend in case in case you didn't know
Though his physique was considered large and stocky
Five world titles proved he was master of the oche

Darts and football will never be the same
Wilkins and Bristow will live on only in name
