Eternally Bound

Inspired By Lauren Dorf’s heartfelt poem “In the still of the night”
.
Lonely teardrops are now falling, from my very saddened soul;
For since the day you had to leave me, I’ve ne’er again been whole!
In the night I hear you whisper, and I know that you’re still there;
You speak words of love eternal, and that forever you will care!
.
You tell me to not be lonely, for you’re always by my side;
And to dry my dripping sad eyes, from the tears they oft have cried!
That some day we’ll be reunited, in the Heaven’s Firmament;
For millenniums sometimes we’ve parted, but we are Soulmates ever meant!
.
You tell me that I am “Your Girl”, the words you’d often say;
When together, we shared our bodies, and side by side we’d lay!
So every night, I live for all your whispers, until we meet at Heaven’s Gate;
I will survive just knowing someday, I’ll reunite with my Soulmate!

                                    We part for a while
                              But time brings us together
