Evening Window

Evening Window

TheΒ sun stepped down,Β
The stories gathered the day,
Packed up and returned home.
In the mute yellow light
Of a time-weary table lamp,
A calm faint smile
Teasing your tender lips,
Teeth biting the pen-end
Coaxing out reluctant words
On to the paper,
I saw you writing
Sitting by that duskyΒ
Evening window.

Hi Sambit. Very much enjoyed this, loved your line about coaxing out words and how you captured the ladis smile. I appreciate your sketch work.

Cheers Byd0nz
