Evermore is blessed
A silver blade, touched by sunlight
In the dusk of the day.
I have no idea what to do,
Or even what to say.
Should someone be so punished,
For something they never done?
Let there be some justice,
Because I fear that there is none.
Groups of people laughed and snickered,
Some cried, even a scorn.
Chained to the cold cement floor,
Many said it would've been best if i wasn't born.
A man cloaked and hidden,
Beneath his shadow there i lie.
I breathed a quiet prayer,
For i knew that i would die.
A woman yelled from the crowed,
"Any last words my dear?'
Looking up at her with a tear in my eye,
I said aloud for all to hear.
"Do not fear what is to come,
I only pray.
Ask yourself what you've done,
Before the end of day."
With that the cloaked man emerged,
He raised his blade,
Gasps echoed, silence came..
I opened her eyes to see my aid.
A boy with brown hair and blue eyes,
Had sacrificed his life for me.
Shocked and scared, I struggled to him,
But I am still chained as you can see.
I let out a cry as I tried to understand why,
Why would this boy do such things?
I've only met him a couple of times,
Oh how I wished that I had wings..
There he lay in his blood,
His face paling at every moment.
The blade had pierced his arm,
It was well clean off and bent.
My stomach turned at the sight,
The blue eyed boy groaned and moved.
Looking to my left, the cloaked man came close,
His blade in the air.
I laid my head on his chest,
Breathing in the last air of the day.
For now I'm dead along with the boy,
Now Evermore is blessed..
