Every time I say I’m sorry
Every song that says goodbye
Every laugh that makes me feel good
And yet I always question why.
 
Every heart that says I love you
Every touch that says I care
Every time I ask a question
Are you really always there?
 
Every question left unanswered
Every answer that I give
Makes me wonder how I got here
Makes me wonder why I live.
 
Change the thoughts to say, ‘I’m lucky’
And that I deserve all of this
Live each moment without question
So no living will be missed.
 
Just be grateful for existence
And give thanks to who I am
Because people want to celebrate
Because they believe I can
