Excuse my oversight and long overdue replies... I was offline for over 6 months till around Christmas and just found your comments... So many thanks to you both!! X

I wrote this piece approximately 10 years ago and intended to put it to music... Which I'm still yet to do... Partly as I wanted it translated into French (properly), and have both English and French singing parts interweaving...

The French connection is due to the main inspiration of the song being the story of the French high wire walker Phillipe Petit, who walked a high wire between The Two Towers of the World Trade Centre in New York in the seventies... An astounding feat of self belief and determination... 
Portrayed initially in the docu-drama 
film :
'Man On Wire' ...
and more recently :
'The Walk' ...

Both I'd highly recommend ??????

So... Any English to French translators out there???
