Exhale....& Write

within her mind 
the chaos of the storm 
continued to blow
unspoken thoughts 
so deep 
suppressed below 
many layers 
wants, desires, pain, 
sunshine 
colliding with rain 
the only release 
is to write 
it all away

silently opening 
the flood gates 
allowing the dam 
to break
cravings flowing 
as constant trembling rivers 
quake 
hurt & pain 
surfacing to the top
just as the earth covered 
rocks 
the heart racing 
as truth of emotion 
seeps through the pores
not realizing the brokenness
which has been hidden 
in the depths of the core 
the heart stirs 
and overflows 
as 
I continue to write 
all the more 

tears fall 
as desire drips 
words which could 
never part these lips 
passion overflowing 
which never has been 
understood 
sensual thoughts 
& wants 
have always been 
kept at bay 
just as every 
good girl should 
clenching legs 
flushed flesh 
I gather thoughts 
so my ink 
can do the rest 

silently 
I slip away
as the heart 
& mind 
finally open 
from their 
frail bind 
close eyes 
breathe in

write
