Cascading

Cascading

the sunlight cascades
from the tip of my toes
up to my brown silken strands
the over abundance of life
flows through me
just as a hurricane

desire claims my core
shouting through my bones
as the taste of hunger
is penetrating
every layer
every fiber
aching desperately
for that which
is capable of more

a steadfast mind
an unwavering heart
a silent soul
which feels worlds apart

breathing in
slowly
breathing out
eyes opened wide
taking one
footstep, and
moment
at a time

Hey SOULWHISPERS!!......this is a VERY beautifully crafted piece.....I LOVE the personalized touches that you've used......like the third stanza where you refer to your pen name......."A silent soul that feels worlds apart".......and interesting, in the way the sun cascaded upward, instead of downward in the first stanza!!.......VERY well conceived and BEAUTIFULLY delivered!!.......PINNED this one my friend........LOVE and ROCKETS!!......T xo  ?☀✴✳
