Exposure

Exposure

You really want to hurt me?
Say things that only bruise?
Rejoice when I am crying?
I'm sure you will excuse.

It's all for your sick humor,
To say what hurts me most,
And then after you've beat me,
You say you love me most.

I don't see why it's funny,
The words you say to me,
But only kills me slowly,
As I cry on my knees.

I'll take it one more minute,
And maybe then I'll go,
But when I finally leave you,
I pray you'll someday know.

Hello Denise...

In so many cases it just gets worse...

I often wonder Do they change or Do they find someone else to abuse?

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...
