Exultant

Regaining your voiceΒ
After falling and swimming through brambles
With open sores from the pain that you enduredΒ
Healing into petuniasΒ
Your dazzling smile re-emerging from the voidΒ
of memories and bad dreams that claimed you
But never kept your soul
Because your heart of gold is too pureΒ
to be destroyed
By evil.
