Eyes

Once upon dark nightmare,
Neath cover comes despair
Dismal border of torment,
Ebbed wafts of rancid scent
Visions of ripping claws begin,
Bloodred path ruined skin.
Shivering, sweat upon brow,
Found nerve to wake somehow.
In each corner of pitch found,
Maniacal chuckles confound.
Security felt with lighted lamp,
Chasing away evilβs stamp.
For in that moment of time,
Devilry winked out tranquil shine.
Desperate for reassured glow.
My eyes dart to and fro,
When suddenly it came to me,
Scratches utmost eerily
I chuckle to calm myself
Fear still comes slyly stealth
Hiding under sheet, like child,
My eyes round, fright so wild.
Anticipating foreboded dread,
Mattress sank upon my bed.
Fraught for comfort I seek.
Covers down for quick peek,
But midst darkness I see,
Amber orbs glaring back at me

Excellent ink again Lisa and the more bible black the better.
A top drawer dark one to make one's heart beat that little faster.

Best version of hay little girl is your daddy home, kinda vibe, brave and you have the most amazing eyes. Guessing they are flecked in brown, and are a stormy sea green.
ββββββ those monsters eyes can no longer reach you.Β
