Poem -

eyes

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul.
But what do they see when they look into mine?
At eighteen,
my soul is a tapestry of dreams,
fears, and unspoken words.

My eyes have witnessed the beauty of a sunrise,
the pain of a tear,
the joy of a smile.
They have seen the world in its rawest form,
unfiltered and unmasked.
But more than that,
they have seen the depths of my own being.

In my eyes,
you will find the echoes of my past,
the whispers of my dreams,
and the strength of my spirit.
They are the doorway to my soul,
a soul that is still discovering itself,
still learning,
still growing.

So, look into my eyes
and see me for who I truly am.
Not just an 18-year-old girl,
but a soul on a journey,
a heart full of hope,
and a mind full of questions.
