Faded light

In a valley of tears where life no longer has meaning and love has failed to exist

Where not a single drop of hope remains, for hope is no more than a distant memory that with time has faded away

I wail and scream in pain but no one can hear me for I am alone and I will die with nobody to remember me, I will be like a breeze of wind that nobody cared for

But when the world has come to an end and I give a last breath  I see a light, a light that will not be faded by any darkness or misery, and with it I see hope, hope and goodness that have warmed my heart and touched my soul
